The Blacklist season 8 episode 15 is bringing more stories this weekend. The majority of the storylines haven't been resolved, including Anne's (LaChanze) current state and whether the Friend from the East is returning. But, the biggest one still centers on Liz (Megan Boone) and Reddington (James Spader).
In The Blacklist season 8 episode 15, Liz will continue with her plan in bringing Reddington down. However, some unforeseen events may challenge her and could lead her in questioning what she really wants to happen. Neville Townsend (Reg Rogers), in particular, is testing her in several ways.
In episode 14, titled "Misere," Liz chose not to kill Reddington even though he had the opportunity to do it. Instead, she gave him a chance to live and didn't try to get information from him. And while Neville also does not want Reddington to die just yet, he wanted to have answers to his questions.
When Neville found out that Liz didn't extract answers from Reddington, he felt frustrated and demanded her to show another way that he could, indeed, trust her. The Blacklist season 8 episode 15 may see Boone trying to prove her alliance - yet she may also decide to go on her own way.
Until now, it remains unclear what is the end goal of Liz. Although she already made it clear that she wanted to bring down Reddington for good, it looks like she's hesitant in killing him. There could unexpected twists and turns coming along the way.
Liz had arrested Reddington before, but when she learned that he'd be getting the death penalty, she decided to stop it. Hence, there is a major reason why she wants to make her plan happen, and it could be all about uncovering her former partner's real identity.
Meanwhile, The Blacklist season 8 episode 15 comes with the title "The Russian Knot," which is possibly a reference to a cipher. The device can reveal hidden messages and it could lead to the truth about Reddington's allegiance.
At the moment, his real identity remains in question -- something Liz eager to find out. Some suspected that he is a Russian assent, while others believed he's a double agent. One of the major theories surrounding him is that he might have been using the N-13 moniker.
