Yusuke Murata has finally dropped One Punch Man Chapter 145, but it confuses fans due to its episode number. Instead of Chapter 145, the manga changes it to Chapter 144.

It has been known that the manga has the most complicated release schedules and its recent episode numbering baffles fans more. After it has skipped Chapter 141, it looks like the previous three manga chapters are all adjusted to fix the episode number; technically, One Punch Man Chapter 145 is yet to be out.

Chapter 140 dropped on March 3, followed by Chapter 142 on March 22. It skipped Chapter 141 until Chapter 143 and Chapter 144 dropped on April 12 on April 19, respectively.

So, as everyone expected Chapter 145 to come out next, the manga released Chapter 144 instead, fixing its episode number to include Chapter 141 on the list. This confused fans and the regular readers as well, but as this is One Punch Man, it just usually happens, BlockToro noted.

To explain it simply, One Punch Man Chapter 145 officially comes out as Chapter 144. So, what will happen next in the series?

According to The Global Coverage, fans are still waiting for Saitama's return to save her fellow heroes. Fuhrer Ugly is still wreaking havoc, putting everyone in danger.

If Saitama doesn't come, there are theories Puri Puri may arrive to rescue his friends. He may save Child Emperor, while Iaian and Evil Natural Water may face Darkshine and Atomic Samurai.

Tanktop Master and Tatsumake will come to defend Genos from Gums and Fuhrer Ugly. Bangs, too, may step forward, knowing he can overpower Fuhrer Ugly. However, if the villain decides to transform, he may beat him easily.

Meanwhile, One Punch Man Chapter 144 shows how of a major part of the series Fubuki has become after saving Genos' life. Genos is about to destroy himself after his body has consumed more energy for pushing himself beyond his limits, per Comicbook.

This move makes Fubuki angry, knowing Genos is willing to sacrifice himself cruelly. Though he is about to explode, she still comes close to him.

Genos tries to tell her to run away, but she just asks him to shut up. She puts her hand on Genos' mouth and uses her psychic ability to suppress the heat flow and heal his organic parts.

She then absorbs the excess energy he has that helps him to avoid exploding. However, this affects Fubuki badly and starts bleeding from her head to mouth as she gradually falls unconsciously.

Despite what happened, thanks to her, she has saved not just Genos but everyone with this move. So far, it is the biggest action Fubuki has made in the current arc, proving how the character has developed with her time with Saitama and other heroes.

There are no words yet on when One Punch Man Chapter 145 will be out, but it is expected to drop anytime this month.
