Supergirl season 6 episode 7 will be the last one for the time being as the superhero drama is heading to its midseason break. The current installment, which serves as the final one, goes on hiatus and it will be off-air for a couple of months.

Supergirl season 6 episode 7 continues what transpired in the early run of the season. Kara a.k.a. the titular heroine (Melissa Benoist) was separated from the rest of the Super Friends and spent most of her time in the Phantom Zone. The team does their best to save her, but the process comes with challenges.

In Supergirl season 6 episode 7, the Super Friends attempt to bring Kara back home. They will try to go to the Phantom Zone to rescue the titular character. However, their journey goes sideways when each member is confronted by visions of their worst fear.

In the promo, everyone can be seen trying to figure out how to get Kara out of the Phantom Zone. They've already tried a lot of things -- including traveling to the past, where they met the young titular character, as well as the young Cat Grant.

In the clip, Kara learns that the Super Friends are coming to save her. Yet, it seems like she does not want them to go where she is as she said: "If they are trying to save me they're all going to die." The scene, then. shifted to the team encountering some serious problems.

At the end of the promo, Kara noted "there's no way out" and shows some members of the Super Friends in a dire situation. The mission to get the titular character out of the Phantom Zone won't be easy and the team will be dealing with a lot of problems along the way.

Supergirl season 6 episode 7 will likely leave a cliffhanger until the midseason premiere. The mission to save Kara from the Phantom Zone remains to be major storylines here, though she's going to reunite with the rest of the team at some point.

Reportedly, one of the reasons why Kara was away from the Super Friends is due to the maternity leave of Benoist at the time of filming. When the superhero drama returns, the titular character will be seen often as the actress filmed her part in the remaining episodes.

Supergirl season 6 episode 7 airs on Tuesday, May 11, on The CW. The episode is directed by David Harewood and written by Elle Lipson and J. Holtham.
