Dynasty season 4 finally arrived on The CW after a year of hiatus. The series has just returned recently and brought a whole new mystery that needed to be solved. The premiere featured a flash-forward scene of a funeral, though it remains uncertain who among the characters will die at some point.

Dynasty season 4 kicks off with the mysterious character in the casket, with the premiere titled "The Unfortunate Dinner". The scene indicates that one of them is going to die as the current installment progresses. This will be one of the major storylines within the next episodes.

In a recent interview with TVLine, showrunner Josh Reims discussed the mystery surrounding the person in the casket. He made it clear that "it's definitely not Fallon (Elizabeth Gillies)." As the story moves forward, he explained that viewers will see "a few more people" at the funeral to rule them out.

Moreover, Reims revealed the mystery will unfold in episode 13 and viewers learn whose funeral it is. The early part of the current installment revolves around the character lying in the casket. But then, this won't likely play out until the season finale.

Another question here is that the events that lead to the apparent demise of the character. It is unlikely that Dynasty season 4 kills off a minor player. It has to be a huge one, as his or her death could bring chaos and troubles to others through the rest of the fourth installment.

Meanwhile, the next episode is titled "Vows are Still Sacred" and it will feature the wedding of Fallon and Liam (Adam Huber). While this is going to be a memorable event for the two, that doesn't mean the celebration will run smoothly.

During Fallon's wedding day, Blake (Grant Show) talked to his daughter to give her a "not-so-fatherly wedding advice" -- something that disappoints her. Whatever he told her may have impacted her decision and it could ruin the celebration.

In addition to giving advice, Blake continues fulfilling his obligations, but when he felt that some forces work against him, he asked for Cristal's (Daniella Alonso) help. Elsewhere, Dominique (Michael Michele) holds another card, while things turn to Alexis' (Elaine Hendrix) favor.

Dynasty season 4 new episodes air every Friday on The CW. There is no need to worry about the future of the series as the network already renewed season 5 ahead of the official premiere of the fourth installment.
