Toonami is now hyping Dr. Stone Season 2's coming on the network with a new slick promo. Now that a third season is in the works, fans can re-watch the anime's second installment on the programming block.

According to Comicbook, Toonami first featured the anime's previous season, making fans wondered when its next installment would come out on the network. Fortunately, that time has finally come.
Senku and the rest of the gang will be seen on the block this week. It will feature Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi's Stone Wars arc from the manga, featuring Senku and his Kingdom of Science going in an all-out war against Tsukasa and his Empire of Might.
Toonami announced Dr. Stone Season 2's release on its official Facebook page, teasing the "The Stone Wars" is about to begin. The much-awaited battle between Senku and Tsukasa will finally happen after the initial started building the Kingdom of Science in the first season, CBR noted.
Senku is hard at work, building human civilization, while Tsukasa is busy forging an army to stop and defeat the protagonist and his people. In no time, fans who don't manage to watch it during its original airing will see these two going in an epic fight that put humanity's future at stake.
The anime's second season became a huge hit for fans that a third season was announced and now in the works. So, what will happen in the next installment?
The franchise has already dropped its first look for the new season, showing a One Piece-like theme, per Looper. By the looks of it, Senku and his people will go on a sea adventure as it is set to adapt the manga's Age of Exploration arc.
Here, they will be building the mighty ship Perseus and start sailing around the world. Senku and the gang are now on the move to find the answers about the mysterious turn of humanity into stone.
Amid their voyage, they will develop more inventions that will help "get mankind back on track." Will they finally know what causes this peculiar event?
Find out when Dr. Stone Season 3 finally comes out. Its official release date is yet to be announced, but it is expected to be released in 2022. Dr. Stone Season 2, alternatively, will be out on Toonami, starting on Saturday, May 15.
