The four-year wait for Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid Season 2 will finally be over. Little hints and teasers about the show's new season are now coming out, hinting at what will happen next.
It takes fans several years of waiting before seeing Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid Season 2 on the small screen due to the number of setbacks the Kyoto Animation experience. As the new installment has been in the works for quite a while now, Kobayashi will officially make her triumphant return.
According to Comicbook, the franchise has been dropping several visuals to hype the upcoming new season premiere. The first images give a glimpse of Tohru and Kobayashi, while the second one shows Kanna and Riko Saikawa.
In addition, the third visual unveils the new look at the returning characters, Shouta and Lucoa. Aside from the few glimpses, AniTrendz noted its official opening song has officially dropped, too.

The Japanese pop band fhána's official YouTube channel released the 15-second preview of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid Season 2's opening song. Titled "Ai no Supreme," this will also be the group's 16th single that will be out on July 14.
So, what will happen in the next installment? Although little details are only known about the series' return, excited fans can't help but cast their predictions on what they are abou to see.
The new season's trailer introduces the new dragon in the series, named Ilulu. She has pink hair and wears a cape and bikini bottom with a human appearance.
The clip also teases the fight between this newcomer and Tohru. She will also be seen in her human form while in Kobayashi's apartment, per Looper.
By the looks of it, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid Season 2 adapts Ilulu's introduction from the manga's Volume 4. Here, the new character is set to cause a big problem for the fan-favorite heroes.
Its official description says Tohru will have a hard time enjoying life with Kobayashi with Ilulu around. The latter will cause chaos in every place.
It may have something to do with how Ilulu has been raised, hating all humans, treating them as enemies, and believing their bond can't be real. But Tohru will try her best to protect Kobayashi from Ilulu's destruction.
It will be dragon maid versus dragon in Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid Season 2, officially titled Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S, which "S" means "Super Supreme Second life Starts." It is set to be out this July, though its official release date is yet to be revealed.
