There is an incredible hype surrounding Rick and Morty Season 5 now; thanks to the series of trailers Adult Swim drops. However, if there is one thing that fans want to see, it is maybe the Kanye West episode.

Will the viewers finally see it in Rick and Morty Season 5? West has been known as a big fan of the animated series, so the show's creative team has offered him a very special episode of his own. As it has been two years since it was crafted, will it still see the light of the day?

In an MSNBC interview with co-creator Dan Harmon, as detailed by Comicbook, he revealed the famed rapper went to the show's offices and had a meeting with the writing team. Though nothing came out to fruition from the discussion, he said only time would tell of its coming.

The 43-year-old fashion mogul, however, indeed sign with them to do an episode dedicated solely to him. He would not just lend his voice or do a song for the series, mind you, but it would be "interwoven" with the franchise with its own "integrity" and West's own.

Harmon then teased that the end result would feature "a lot of original music." Though nothing was officially done after that meeting yet, he stressed it didn't mean the collaboration wouldn't push through.

Everything was going well; it was just that the executives told them to "reel it back in" after "breaking an entire episode within minutes." This just means there is no way this episode will make it on Rick and Morty Season 5 but in the future.

Adult Swim has been dropping several trailers to hype the show more and the most favorite of them all is the 17-minute teaser the pixel art legend Paul Robertson did. Titled Rick and Morty in the Eternal Nightmare Machine, it featured a "violent exploration of the series' extended cosmology" with a lot of fights and Easter Eggs, AV Club noted.

Alternatively, the second trailer shows the eccentric fan-favorite family coming together with more adventures coming their way. Here, Rick is seen admitting the Smith family looks cool after they unite to take on the enemies.

Later, they are all seen going on a vacation, thanks to Rick's idea. They, too, will be working hand-in-hand to defeat the series' first-ever Kaiju, a gigantic ant, which seems to be a Voltron parody, per Screenrant.

By the looks of it, a lot is about to happen when Rick and Morty Season 5 finally drops on Sunday, June 20, on Adult Swim.
