A dangerous situation is about to take place in the Los Angeles police station in SWAT season 4 episode 18. Titled "Veritas Vincit," the season finale of the crime action drama is bringing a huge disaster that could put the lives of many at risk.

In SWAT season 4 episode 18, a bombing occurred at a Los Angeles police station and the incident puts the entire city on edge. Because of this, the team prepared themselves for the final showdown with a group of domestic extremists.

Aside from this mission, certain characters will also be given a spotlight in SWAT season 4 episode 18. For instance, Tan (David Lim) is making a big step when it comes to his personal life. Hondo (Shemar Moore), on the other hand, faces troubles after making a bold move that threatens his future.

It's yet to be seen what the future holds for Hondo, but it's unlikely he's leaving the department for good since he's one of the major characters in the series. Perhaps, his recent actions come with some consequences, prompting him to find a way to save his career.

Meanwhile, another character will continue to face "personal reckoning" in SWAT season 4 episode 18. Jim Street (Alex Russell), in particular, faces more challenges moving forward. This is something that executive producer Aaron Rashaan Thomas previously teased to TVLine.

Thomas said that the final five episodes of the fourth installment will be big for Street. Throughout the current outing, he said that the character matured a lot and his maturity will be tested in a huge way. There'll be "a few big developments" and "a personal reckoning in a surprising way."

Street started as a reckless rookie, but he eventually realized that he needs to work harder to prove himself and his worth to the team. It's still unknown what the personal reckoning could be, but this could be a way to make him even stronger.

The reckoning might also involve his mother or something related to Chris (Lina Esco), especially since he confessed his true feelings for her. This storyline may also continue moving forward, and there'll be more progress and development for Street in the future.

Meanwhile, the action drama has already been renewed by CBS for season 5 and there will be several changes once the series returns on the network. It was announced that the show will be moving to Fridays once it premieres this coming fall.

SWAT season 4 episode 18 airs on Wednesday, May 26, on CBS.
