Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation has become one of the top fan-favorite anime materials today. Upon its debut earlier this year, it quickly gained attraction across the globe.

When the first part of the first season concluded its course, many have been eager to learn when it will return on small screens. While some reports claimed that the second cour will drop this summer, Funimation seemingly maintained its silence for months.

Things have changed, though, earlier this week when the company released an update about the hit anime series. On Twitter, Funimation announced that Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation will return for its second cour this fall season.

Comic Book released a report on the matter, including the actual announcement from the entertainment company. Aside from revealing the return schedule, the post, also, comes with a new teaser photo.

It has since amassed over 4,600 likes and tons of comments from netizens, especially avid fans and viewers of the anime series. They appeared to have expressed their excitement as the "waiting game" is about to be over soon.

Some individuals even asserted that Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation's return will be in October. Although Funimation has yet to confirm the exact release date, many of the fans are positive that it will be sometime within the said month.

Following the latest announcement from Funimation, Coming Soon reiterated the synopsis of the anime series. As noted, it follows the story of a 34-year-old man who met his demise while saving a stranger from a car collision.

After the accident, he wakes up as a newborn baby, who receives the name of Rudeus Greyrat. He retains his knowledge, experiences, and regrets from his past life, causing him to make a vow for himself. He now intends to live a more meaningful and fulfilling life, and not to make the same mistakes again.

The first cour ended with Rudeus, alongside his company, making their way toward the Asura Kingdom. The second part of the first installment will pick up where it last left off, and many are expecting that the group will face all-new sorts of challenges upon reaching their destination.

Apart from the second cour, fans and followers of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation are, also, excited about the reported second and third seasons of the hit anime series. A separate report from Comic Book stated that a source previously claimed that the studio is "simultaneously" working on Seasons 2 and 3, as well.
