One Piece Episode 976 will return to the present timeline after featuring Oden's execution. Fans will once again see Luffy, along with Kid and Law, in action after the major flashback episodes of the daimyo of Kuri's life.
One Piece Episode 976 has to answer a lot of questions after Oden's demise. What will happen to Akazaya Nine members? What about Hikori?
The new episode's title, "Back to the Present! Beyond 20 Years," will be true to its name. It will show the future 20 years after Oden's death and fans will get a glimpse of the Nine Red Scabbards.
The upcoming installment's preview shows the group crying now that their leader is gone. It also shows the young Hiyori and Kawamatsu as they are trying to look for someone.
Elsewhere, Denjiro remains with Orochi after changing his looks. The last scene then shows Luffy, hinting at the series' return to the present timeline.
In addition, the One Piece Episode 976 synopsis, via BlockToro, reveals the Kozuki family's bodies are lost and Toki's prophetic words are hard to understand. They seem to mentally drive Orochi, while Hiyori hides herself using her vassal, Kawamatsu.
However, Oden's daughter cannot help but be worried for Kawamatsu, who continuously gives her food despite the hunger he is also feeling. So, she will decide to leave Kawamatsu and meet a mysterious person.
Meanwhile, Duniaku added the fate of the remaining Akazaya Nine members would be revealed in the next episode. Kinemon, Kanjuro, Kikunojo and Raizo now join Momonosuke in the future, while the other five remain in the past.
Kiku stays in Wano to gather more information after being thrown in the future, while the other four will go to Zou. Ashura Doji will then become a bandit, Inuarashi and Nekomamushi will return to Zou, and Kawamatsu and Denjiro will be different.
After Kawamatsu and Hiyori get separated, the initial will be arrested and imprisoned as he looks for the child in One Piece Episode 976. Hiyori will then be with Denjiro, who will change his name to Kyoshiro, show his power, and avenge his master.
