The Blacklist season 8 episode 19 is coming this weekend on NBC, with the title "Balthazar 'Bino' Baker." The storyline will revolve mostly around Liz Keen (Megan Boone), who was taken to custody. She seemed to be locked up, but Raymond Reddington (James Spader) may help her escape.

The Blacklist season 8 episode 19 sees the aftermath of Liz's arrest in episode 18, titled "The Protean." Cooper (Harry Lennix) and the FBI put her in handcuff, mostly because of the things that she did during the early run of the current outing.

However, Reddington is not happy with what happened and opposed the idea of Liz being taken to custody. His biggest concern here is that the Task Force may not be able to keep her safe, and he thinks that he's the only one who could protect his former partner.

Liz's arrest was inevitable since she needs to face the consequences of her actions. She decided to head to the dark path to bring Reddington down. In order to make this happen, she didn't hesitate to team up with some adversaries, including Neville Townsend (Reg Rogers).

But then, Townsend is now coming after her and even hired an assassin to kill her. In The Blacklist season 8 episode 19, Liz's biggest problem is escaping custody, which comes with several challenges. After cutting ties with the Task Force, they started to doubt her words and action.

The only person who could help her is Reddington. The two aren't on good terms until now, but he does care for his Liz. Perhaps, he will come up with a plan where he could help her go, which could lead them getting same on the same page again.

Also, one of the preview photos of The Blacklist season 8 episode 19 hinted that Reddington may have succeeded in helping Liz get out. After all, he is moving a precious cargo quietly and enlists the assistance of an enforcer who specializes in transporting items.

One of the major reasons why Reddington also wants to have Liz back is because she's valuable to the "30-year project" he's trying to complete. At the moment, it remains unclear what exactly her role could be, but he recognized that he needs her to make his plan happen.

The Blacklist season 8 episode 19 is scheduled to air on Friday, May 28, on NBC.
