Liz Keen (Megan Boone) faces a new problem in the upcoming The Blacklist season 8 episode 19. Titled "Balthazar 'Bino' Baker," this week's episode sees the aftermath of her arrest, which was shown at the end of episode 18, "The Protean."
In The Blacklist season 8 episode 19, Liz needs to face the consequences of her previous actions. Her arrest is something inevitable, especially after heading to the dark path in order to take down her former partner, Raymond Reddington (James Spader).
Liz cut her ties with the Task Force, and most of the people around her doubted her since then. She also teamed up with Neville Townsend (Reg Rogers), but the latter goes after her and hired an assassin to kill her. In the process of escaping this man, she puts herself in trouble and ended up in custody.
Now, the biggest problem for her is getting out of her current situation. It looks like she may need the help of others, particularly Reddington. Her former partner does not want her to be in prison since he believes that bringing her on his side again would be the only way to look after her.
As per the synopsis of The Blacklist season 8 episode 19, Reddington enlists an enforcer who might be named after the episode title, Balthazar "Bino" Baker. He needs the help of this person, who specializes in transporting items through an underground network, to carry out some precious cargo.
It's yet to be seen what these items could be, but some speculated that the "precious cargo" carries Liz. Reddington probably figures out that this is the only way to help her out, which is also why he wanted the operation to be done quietly.
If not Liz, the cargo may contain something that Reddington could use to get her out of custody. Although the two haven't been on good terms for quite a long time already, he still cares for her and he's doing whatever he can to bring her back on her side.
For now, there is no indication that Reddington and Liz get on the same page again in The Blacklist season 8 episode 19. The series is building up more intense stories for the two, especially since only four episodes were left. There's going to be a lot of twists and turns as the season finale approaches.
