TXT is making their official comeback on May 31, at 6 p.m., KST. While the members have already geared up for their line-up schedule, Big Hit Music released a shocking announcement earlier on Monday.

Koreaboo said that the label has cancelled the group's media showcase, which is a significant part of their return to the K-Pop scene. This comes after a staff member has tested positive for COVID-19.

Big Hit Music stated that the positive test result came in on May 30. The person in question is a "subcontracted staff member" who participated in the group's recent activities. Accordingly, they are seeing difficulties in the "offline media showcase" slated for Monday.

The announcement, also, revealed that health authorities have yet to officially ask the members of TXT to take COVID-19 tests. Even so, the K-Pop idols have already completed preliminary testing using self-test kits.

Big Hit Music claimed that the results came in negative for all of the members. Nevertheless, they all still took PCR tests, and are now waiting for the diagnoses.

It is likely that new announcements will emerge once the results arrive. As to when this will happen, no further information has been shared before the public.

Despite the shocking series of events, though, it appears that the group's new music release will push through on the publicized date. Fans and followers will still witness the official arrival of The Chaos Chapter: Freeze later on Monday.

Otakukart previously noted that the reports about TXT's comeback first emerged earlier in April. Their label eventually confirmed the headlines, noting that the group would return later in May.

Weeks later, the K-Pop idols, alongside their agency, started to drop teaser materials on their various social media platforms. As pointed out, The Chaos Chapter: Freeze will serve as their second full-length studio album since their debut.

The group's latest music release took place earlier in January. They dropped their debut Japanese album, Still Dreaming, which entails the original track, "Force." It has become widely popular, considering World Trigger Season 2 utilizes it for its opening theme.

On Tuesday, TXT unveiled some of the details of The Chaos Chapter: FreezeTeen Vogue reported that it will house a total of eight tracks, with "0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You)" serving as the lead single of the studio album.

The K-Pop group, also, revealed the tracklist, with three of the songs carrying Korean titles. As for the other tracks in the album, they are titled "Anti-Romantic," "Magic," "No Rules," and "Frost."
