A Danish radio reporter went above and beyond during an assignment by having sex with the man she was interviewing.

Louise Fischer was conducting an interview inside a swingers' club near Copenhagen when she was asked to partake.

The 26-year-old reporter obliged and could be heard having sex during the on-the-record activity that was part of a two-minute segment aired on Radio 4 in Denmark. Fischer said she wasn't forced to do anything.

"I don't have a boyfriend. That made it a lot easier. My mother just thinks it's funny and laughs. My father thought it was really cool," Fischer said.

Fischer was reporting on the reopening of the swingers' club Swingland after COVID-19 restrictions were lifted. She said everyone at the club and those at her office was "cool about it" and thought it was very brave of her to join in.

Fischer didn't plan to have sex for the report. Radio 4 said it approved Fischer's decision and thought it was a unique way of covering the story. Fischer said most of her colleagues approved of her unorthodox style.

"The swinger scene is a very closed environment. I knew before I came that I would not get the full insight - but I should at least create a kind of trust and credibility between me and them," Fischer said.

However, it isn't all a bed of roses for Fischer. Some critics said Fischer crossed a line in journalistic standards.
