"Jujutsu Kaisen" Chapter 153 may mark the beginning of a new arc after the Zen'in clan's defeat. Fans may finally witness the start of the Culling Games, along with the introduction of the third Tokyo Jujutsu High School student, Kinji Hakara and more.

Maki has successfully eradicated the Zen'in clan, leaving only her and Megumi. Even Naoya is now dead, making the family's future dim, so will they be removed from the big three families in "Jujutsu Kaisen" Chapter 153?

According to Recent Highlights, the much-teased Culling Games may finally happen in the new chapter forward. Itadori and company are doing everything to free Gojo Satoru from the prison realm, as he may help them gain more strength.

They already found a girl who might help them free Gojo using her power to reverse any curse technique. Will this woman come to their aid?

Itadori and Megumi are also on a mission to look for Kinji in the past episodes and they may finally find him soon. There is also a much-awaited face-off between Choso and Noritoshi as the latter plans to attack Master Tengen's tomb to have his original body.

Sadly, there is no "Jujutsu Kaisen" Chapter 153 coming this Sunday. Weekly Shonen Jump officially announced the manga's hiatus.

Though Gege Akutami wants to continue working on the series, it has been decided after an editorial meeting that he has to take a "temporary break" because of a health issue. The mangaka needs time to recover from an undisclosed health problem.

Alternatively, the manga creator himself issued his official statement about the manga's hiatus. He confirmed he would be taking a "much-needed break to recover after experiencing some health issues."

The hiatus may run for a month, which can be shorter or longer. He then assures fans he does not have any serious illness and he will return and give his best shot.

"I want to reassure everyone that I am not suffering from any kind of serious illness and my mental state is strong," he says via IBTimes. "I do apologize for the long wait. When I return, I will treat it as the start of a new series and do my very best."

Akutami also apologizes for taking a break, revealing things have piled up that bring him into this situation. Calling himself a rookie, he knows he should not take a long hiatus like this, especially that the manga is in "between the end of a long arc and the start of a new one."

So far, no one knows when "Jujutsu Kaisen" Chapter 153 will be out.
