Fans are about to see Song Joong-ki back on the big and small screen after the successful outing of "Vincenzo." Song Hye-kyo's former husband, along with Lee Hee-joon and Kwon Hae-hyo, is about to conclude the production of "Bogotá."

Song's next projects are now lined up and it looks like fans are about to see more of him in the coming days. Aside from "Bogotá," he will be leading a new JTBC series pretty soon.

Fans will see the 35-year-old actor first in the Kim Sung Se-directed movie, 'Bogotá." It is a crime thriller set in the Colombian capital, Bogotá, which will tell the story of a group of people who find it hard to make a better life for themselves in the 1990s.

The movie already started filming in Colombia in January 2020, but the Covid-19 pandemic happened. As the virus started to change the world, it forced them to return to Korea after a couple of months - finishing only about 40% of the film.

Filming was postponed until this year and in March, there were talks if they would return to Colombia to continue shooting or not. Later, according to Soompi, it had been decided that they would finish the film in Korea instead.

So, the cameras have started rolling since June 21 as Song and others are now back into filming. The production will continue for about three months.

Here, the "Descendants of the Sun" star will play the role of Guk Hee. At 19, he arrives in Bogotá - trying to make it in the business world, though it may not be easy.

Meanwhile, fans will also see Song on their TV screens with "Youngest Son of the Corporate Family." Based on the famous webtoon with the same title, he will play the titular role of a loyal corporate stooge, SCMP noted.

However, he will be set up in a robbery and get killed. Later, he will be reborn as the youngest son of the family who robbed him.

Aside from the famed Korean actor, the veteran star Lee Sung-min and Shin Hyun-been will join the cast.

As expected, Song will get a big paycheck from his new TV and movie projects. As one of the best paid actors in South Korea, did you know he got 180 million won ($158,000) for each episode of "The Arthdal Chronicles?"

He later got 200 million won per episode of his latest TV series, "Vincenzo."
