Just when fans thought they were about to witness the "So, I'm a Spider, So What?" the final episode, it was delayed. Instead of seeing it June 25, it has been moved for more than a week.
Why? Producers behind the series announced the "So, I'm a Spider, So What?" final episode in a tweet. According to reports, it has something to do with the anime's production and fans' complaints about its animation.
"Notice of new broadcast delivery date and time of episode 24]. The 24th episode of the TV anime "I'm a Spider, What?" That was postponed, this time; the broadcast delivery date and time have been newly decided," the tweet reads.
"Thank you to everyone who is looking forward to the main story. For details, please check the broadcast distribution information of the image," it continues.
According to Epic Dope, since the anime started, it was initially postponed because of the Covid-19 pandemic. It was supposed to be out in 2020 and was moved to a 2021 release date.
There were also issues about its production at the time. Now, it looks like history has repeated itself as it once again suffers production problems.
However, instead of being, fans seem to celebrate the delay. One fan said people behind the animation should have all the time to fix the "horrible 3D" graphics that they saw in the last few episodes.
With a pretty exciting story of the "So, I'm a Spider, So What?" final episode, many want to see a fitting animation for it. Fans have already started theorizing what will happen in the last few moments of the series.
Sure, many want to see more of Nameless, or aka Kumoko, after the previous chapter ended with two major cliffhangers. Aside from the intense battle between the elves and the demon army, there is also the scene where Ariel and the lady who killed the hero Julias arrive at the Elf Village.
So, is Nameless the new Demon Lord or will it remain to be Ariel?
Meanwhile, the "So, I'm a Spider, So What?" final episode was originally scheduled for release June 25, but now it would be out July 3, CBR noted.
The show's producers have now released a new time-lapse trailer for the much-awaited finale on YouTube. The final episode will be released on the AT-X Network at 9 p.m. in Japan and streamed in other regions outside of Asia on Crunchyroll.
