Luffy wants Momo to fly him back to Onigashima. Knowing the kid is afraid of heights, can he do it in "One Piece" Chapter 1021?
Despite his young age, it cannot be denied that Momo is a brave kid. He has been a good leader as of late, but he now has to step up and outdo himself.
Amid his sadness about Kinemon and Kiku's fall, he has to take Luffy up to Onigashima. The Heart Pirates have rescued Luffy and the latter is now devouring their rations.
This only means he has regained some strength after his fight against Kaido, though he needs more power to recover more. He has to return to the battle again and fulfill his promise to bring the Beast Pirates captain down.
So, after meeting Momo again, Recent Highlights noted Luffy told the kid he needed to stop being weak. Since he is the commander of this mission, he has to be tough for his people.
He then asked him to turn into a dragon and fly him back to Onigashima. Can the kid do it in "One Piece" Chapter 221?
It has been Oda's common practice to keep Luffy on the sideline before putting him in the spotlight again for a big fight. Though he may not yet return to Onigashima in the upcoming installment, it will surely soon happen.
In "Jujutsu Kaisen" Chapter 220, Robin wondered why Sanji depended on the lady and what would happen to him. She realized he should understand the situation, though he never fought any women, OtakuKart News noted.
Robin believed Sanji should be called "The Wings of the Pirate King," but he slacked during the battle because they had to face a woman. The scene then shifted to Luffy, who now had regained his strength and consciousness.
He met Momo, who was with Caribou. The latter decided to watch Luffy and Momo over from a distance in the middle of their reunion.
As they started to celebrate, Luffy realized they should never waste any more time as the battle continued in Onigashima. Luffy asked Momo to transform into a dragon, and they both had to fly to Onigashima.
From here, they started to craft their plan of return. "One Piece" Chapter 221 will be released Sunday, Aug. 8.
