Royal fans remain hopeful that Prince Harry will return to the United Kingdom and it may happen in 10 years. A royal expert believes his relationship with Meghan Markle will only last a decade and he will come back home after their split.
Ashley Pearson predicts Harry and Meghan's romance will not last long. A lot of royal fans see the Duchess of Sussex as the villain, not wanting to consider the Duke of Sussex as the "betrayer."
In the new Channel 5 documentary "Meghan at 40," Pearson said, via Express, it is no surprise that some people see Meghan as the villain. She explained the British public loves Harry so profoundly that they do not want to treat him as the betrayer.
It is far easier for them to blame the former actress, who happens to be a foreigner, and Harry will soon come back home. They believe the couple will end their relationship in 10 years and from here, the prince will return.
Harry and Meghan tied the knot in May 2018 in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. They got engaged 16 months after courtship, following their first meeting on a blind date.
After their marriage, they started working as senior royals, but they announced their controversial royal exit in January 2020. Their decision resulted in a royal crisis that the senior palace aides started negotiating for them to become financially independent.
They have also renounced their royal patronages and there are rumors Kate Middleton will be taking over Harry's two patronages, The Sunday Times reported. The Duchess of Cambridge will now become the patron of the Rugby Football Union (RFU) and the Rugby Football League (RFL).
An official announcement will reportedly take place before the Rugby World Cup in October. Harry used to be the two organizations' patron for five years, getting publicity for the firms and representing them at official events on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II.
After Meghan and Harry officially announced in February that they would remain out of the royal family following their one-year review period, their royal patronages would be returned to the Queen. It would then be redistributed among other royals.
However, some organizations decided to keep them as patrons by removing the word "royal" from their titles. Harry remains to be the patron of WellChild, while Meghan stays as the Smart Works and Mayhew's patron. Anyhow, the RFU and RFL let go of Harry.
