tvN officially announced there would be no new episode of "Hospital Playlist" Season 2 airing in the first week of September. The show is about to give way to the airing of the Asia preliminaries for the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
A representative of "Hospital Playlist" Season 2 confirmed the series' break on Sept. 2. According to Soompi, though the 2022 Qatar World Cup is set to begin in November and December 2022, the issues in the country stop the football competition from happening during the summer months as usual.
So, as the Asia preliminaries now start, South Korea will be facing Iraq on Sept. 2. This means the drama's episodes will air as usual until Aug. 26.
After that, there will be a delay, and the new episode will be out on Sept. 9 instead. Meanwhile, the show is about to release its ninth episode, and fans now look forward to seeing what will happen next to the much-loved five doctors.
The story will soon end, so fans can expect to see more shocking revelations in the remaining episodes. So, in Episode 9, Jeong Won and Gyeo Ul may try to make things work out between them.
