The My Villain Academia arc will begin in "My Hero Academia" Season 5 Episode 20 (Episode 108). The franchise is now hyping the new storyline by dropping new images and its official synopsis.
The League of Villains has a new enemy to face now. Shigaraki and the rest of the gang will go against the new villainous group Meta Liberation Army, and it is about to begin in "My Hero Academia" Season 5 Episode 20.
Twitter user Atsushi 101X shared the photos on Twitter, giving a glimpse of the antagonists fans are about to see. As it gives everyone a good look at Shigaraki, Comicbook noted the new episode would also feature his younger days.
Fans may witness the events that took place that made Shigaraki the man he is today. He is now known as the U.A. Academy's greatest villain, and there may be a great story that leads him to become a formidable antagonist.
In addition, the new arc will not only reveal the crisis Shigaraki, and his group will face. It will also dive into the past of some of the series' biggest villains over the years.

To complete fans' excitement, the anime has also dropped the official synopsis for "My Hero Academia" Season 5 Episode 20. Shigaraki will take the spotlight this time, and he is about to begin a new challenge for Deku.
Here, fans are about to see the gigantic enemy Gigantomachia, who will meet the League of Villains outside their hideout. Though he seems to be the ally who All for One left, he will go violent when he sees Shigaraki.
Gigantomachia has been supporting All for One since the very beginning. He, too, is his loyal ex-bodyguard, and he will despair when he sees the difference between Shigaraki and his former boss.
From here, the battle between Gigantomachi and Shigaraki will begin. Despite their fight, Gigantomachia's arrival seems to be timely.
Shigaraki and the League of Villains have just faced Overhaul. So, they are now hard at work and training, making their fighting skills ready to go one-on-one against Gigantomachia.
In addition, as Gigantomachi keeps Shigaraki and his team busy, another group of villains is ready to spread darkness all over the place.
Meanwhile, the previous episode revealed Eraserhead and Present Mic learned about the villain known as Kurogiri and the biological nightmares called Nomu. By the looks of it, something big is about to happen in the series.
The franchise's antagonists are now planning to unleash an all-out war that will, reportedly, set up the sixth season. "My Hero Academia" Season 5 Episode 20 will be out on Saturday, Aug. 21.
