Taeyeon proves how optimistic she is in life after posting a cryptic message on her Instagram story. The member of the Girls' Generation did not exactly pinpoint who she was referring to in the post, though fans seemed to have an idea.
Just like other K-pop stars, Taeyeon has been receiving negative comments on social media. So, many believe her post is her response to the malicious commenters.
"Yeah, that's right. I loved it. I still do," the South Korean superstar started her message, via AllKpop. However, she admitted she sometimes thinks she has yet to find the thing she is much better at.
The singer is now 32 years old, and she said she has only lived to the edge of this age by now. As no one knows what will happen tomorrow, she does her best and focuses on it.
But, Taeyeon makes sure it will never get to the point that it will be "cumbersome." "Always to the point where I and the people around me can be happy and free of worries," she ended her note.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Vogue Korea, the hitmaker opened up about her 14-year career with Girls' Generation, per Soompi. The group celebrated its debut anniversary on Aug. 5, and she revealed this month had always been "party time" for them, though this year was different.
Due to the threat of COVID-19, they only had a Zoom meeting with no makeup on, wearing only pajamas and with their hair tied back. Despite that, it was still a meaningful experience for them.
Now that Taeyeon is promoting solo, she will continue to be "Girls' Generation's Taeyeon." Being with the band helps her to be where she is today.
Meanwhile, talking about the group's song "Gee," she revealed she had a rebellious period at the time. She wanted to do a strong concept, as she saw the track as embarrassing.
In fact, she even said these things in interviews several times, so people believed he hated the song. Now that 12 years had passed since the release of "Gee," she realized it had a concept appropriate for her age.
The rest of the group's members were still young at the time, fresh and naïve. Though it had its own kind of beauty, Taeyeon did not know it then, leading to her success today.
