Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have called their engagement off, which ultimately led to their split in April. Five months have passed, J.Lo has now moved on with Ben Affleck, while his ex, allegedly, cannot stop talking about their past relationship.
Rumors have it Lopez is now tired of Rodriguez talking about her. Is it true or is it just one of the many made-up stories about the former couple?
A new edition of Star magazine claimed the two's break up turned to be a little messy this time. Allegedly, the former footballer is now spilling all the details about their romance to anyone who wants to listen.
Though he only said good things about the ageless performer in his recent interview, the publication insisted Lopez wanted nothing to do with him. She also, reportedly, claimed she was tired of him talking about her.
An alleged source said Rodriguez could not take a hint that the 52-year-old singer was no longer his. She seemed to make it clear to A-Rod and everyone that Affleck is "her everything now."
The magazine even used Lopez's move to delete all her snaps with Rodriguez on Instagram and unfollow him as evidence. Anyhow, the insider continued that it did not stop the former baseball shortstop from talking about his ex and the hitmaker just wanted him to stop.
Star also used Affleck's compliments to Lopez before, alleging she seemed not to mind it at the time. Anyhow, Gossip Cop slams this report and stresses Rodriguez never obsessively talks about his past relationship with the "Hustlers" star.
When he recently talked about Lopez, he had nothing but gratitude for his time with her. He even said they were now moving forward and would be making the next five years better with the lessons he learned.
Lopez and Rodriguez parted ways in April after rumors emerged that they were on the verge of breaking up. In a joint statement to People, the former couple said they realized they were better off as friends and looked forward to remaining so.
They vowed to continuously work together and support each other on the shared businesses and projects they had. "We wish the best for each other and one another's children," they said.
After calling it quits with Rodriguez, Lopez surprised everyone when she rekindled her romance with Affleck. The two used to be engaged, but they also called off their engagement and split in 2004.
Alternatively, Rodriguez seems to have moved on from Lopez, too. He is now often spotted with the sports reporter Melanie Collins, per Cosmopolitan.
