Fans cannot help themselves but get too excited when Simon Pegg poses with a life-size cut-out of BTS's Jin and "Squid Game" memorabilia on Instagram. With a producer-screenwriter, a K-pop idol and a hit Netflix show in one snap, does it mean anything about the much-talked-about "Squid Game 2?"

Netflix Korea shared the photo of Pegg on its Twitter page and it received an uproar from fans. Knowing the English actor is a writer himself, is it hinting that Jin will be part of "Squid Game 2?"

To answer fans' questions, the 51-year-old star held a live broadcast on Instagram. Here, he agreed to the viewers' suggestion that he and the BTS member do a K-drama together.

AllKpop noted that it is not impossible for these two to have a TV show together. Pegg is also an actor who came to prominence in the Channel 4 sitcom "Spaced" in the U.K.

He, too, is behind the success of "The Flavours Cornetto" film trilogy: "Shaun of the Dead," "Hot Fuzz" and "The World's End." Alternatively, Jin has done a number of projects for BTS, from music videos to reality series to music documentaries and more.

He is also a professional graduated actor who is now getting the attention of film directors and actors alike for his talent. As he gets different offers here and there, fans may soon see him on the small screen.

So, will it be in "Squid Game" Season 2? Pegg himself said he wanted Jin to be part of this Netflix original series, though nothing is confirmed about it yet.

Meanwhile, "Squid Game" is now taking the world by storm with its unique dystopian survival story. It has now received critical success and is even lauded by international fans, making history as the first K-drama to be part of the top 10 TV show chart for the U.S., per Koreaboo.

So, Pegg joined the bandwagon and donned the players' tracksuit, along with the famous Green Light, Red Light game doll's head. He also posed with other show's memorabilia and a cut-out of Jin's image, saying hi. Pegg proved he is a true ARMY in heart and commented on the post with purple hearts.

Well, this move is not a surprise at all, knowing he has proven himself as a BTS fan before. In fact, the first time fans noticed Pegg loves RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook when she shared a video of himself listening to Agust D's "Daechwita."
