The much-awaited anime adaptation of "SpyxFamily" is finally happening. The franchise has officially announced the release of its animated version and it is about to hit the small screen in no time.
Fans are about to see the story of the master spy, the pro assassin, and a psychic child in one family that will surely be different. As a seasoned spy who has to hide his identity, Twilight has to adopt a child and be the most badass dad ever that will be seen in "SpyxFamily."
Studio CloverWorks and Wit Studio collaborate to produce the anime adaptation of Tatsuya Endo's brainchild. As early as now, the studios have dropped the series' official trailer to give fans a glimpse of the incredible adventure they are about to witness.
The clip introduces Twilight, the story's lead star, who is also a top spy. Epic Dope noted that he would be in several disguises, fighting some baddies and making the coolest exits.
Amid all his intense missions, he will be given a new one. However, nobody thought his next top-secret mission was to "create a family within a week."
So, from a lone wolf, Twilight will become a loving father. This transformation can be seen in the last sequence of the trailer, where he is carrying groceries and Anya, his adopted daughter. The preview also features Yor, Twilight's make-believe wife.
Moreover, "SpyxFamily" cast members are now emerging and it includes Takuya Eguchi, who will voice the Forger family's first member, Loid Forger or Twilight, per Comicbook. So, to address his inclusion in the new anime, he released an official statement on Twitter.
He said he is very grateful for the opportunity to play as Loid. As the series' protagonist, he promises to do his best to play the role effectively that everyone can enjoy it. Eguchi is also looking forward to starting the recording, showing his excitement to be part of the series.
Meanwhile, "SpyxFamily" tells the story of the master spy Twilight. He is the best at everything he does, from going undercover to doing the most dangerous mission to better the world.
He is the type who will never depend on others. This even stops him from having a family to continue his mission to infiltrate an elite private school.
Little did he know that when he starts his mission to get married and have a kid, the wife he will choose is an assassin, while his kid is a telepath. "SpyxFamily" is set to be out in 2022.
