Meghan Markle remains at the center of controversies and allegations. Despite leaving the royal life behind in 2020, rumors and criticisms have followed her as she and Prince Harry live the new chapter of their lives in the United States.
Earlier this year, her sister, Samantha Markle, published a memoir titled, "The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister." She printed numerous bombshell revelations, leading tabloids to conclude that the Duchess of Sussex was not always "wholesome."
Star said that sources confirmed the claims, especially those that relate to the former "Suit" actress's first marriage, adding that she also took part in activities with links to drugs.
Meghan Markle first tied the knot with Trevor Engleson in 2011. In the memoir, Samantha Markle claimed that her sister cheated on her then-husband, noting that they heard it "through the grapevine."
An insider, then, confirmed with the publication that there were, indeed, "affair whispers," involving the former actress. She, also, reportedly dumped Engleson "out of the blue" and moved out of the house.
The informant continued that being faithful was not a priority to Markle even amid her first marriage. Men would allegedly come and go, as she was the "love-them-and-leave-them" type.
The same source added that Prince Harry's wife, also, "dabbled in drugs." Even though pot was illegal in her early 20s, this did not reportedly stop the celebrity.
The allegations remain unconfirmed, though, as there is no evidence to support them. Meghan Markle continues her silence, as well, similar to her first husband, Trevor Engleson.
Nevertheless, The Royal Observer previously reported that the former couple cited "irreconcilable differences" upon divorce. Sources, also, stated that the issue centered on the apparent distance they had due to their respective careers.
As explained, Markle was living in Toronto because of her hit series, "Suits," while Engleson stayed behind in Los Angeles due to his career, as well. Even so, other insiders said that the divorce hit the producer "pretty hard," noting that it was not amicable.
Meanwhile, the tabloid's report continued on, involving Prince Harry in the dynamic. It is said that the Duke of Sussex knows some of the "skeletons in Meghan's closet" but not everything.
The couple reportedly shares an open and honest relationship. However, they do not know everything about each other.
As the public would recall, the Royal Prince had his "wild days" in his youth. Cheat Sheet previously released a report on the matter, listing some of his controversial moments.
To date, though, sources said that Prince Harry has grown up, while Meghan Markle is now "prim and proper." But, these things have seemingly hinted that they went through a "wild-child" phase.
