TWICE is becoming one of the most famous K-pop acts and their upcoming 2022 North America tour is speaking volumes about it. Initially, the group had to stage only five concerts in major cities, but with the high demand and quick ticket sales, their agency, JYP Entertainment, decided to add two more.

TWICE is about to begin their concert tour in Korea and visit major cities in North America, like Los Angeles, Oakland, Dallas, Atlanta and New York. Luckily, other fans will have the chance to see their favorites Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu for another two days.

AllKpop reported that another concert day in Los Angeles would happen on Feb. 15, 2022, at the Forum. Alternatively, another performance will be added in Belmont Park, New York, at UBS Arena on Feb. 27, 2022.

The ticket sales will begin on Friday, Dec. 17, at 3 p.m. at the venue's local time. So, fans are now excited to secure their seats for these additional dates after the concert tickets quickly sold out before.

With this success, JYP Entertainment thanked the girls' global fans' love and support, which was why it decided to hold two more concerts in the U.S., per Korea Times. The tour would begin with three shows in Seoul, happening on Dec. 24 to 26. However, the company is yet to reveal the official dates and venues for the series of U.S. concert.

Meanwhile, it cannot be denied that TWICE is now gaining incredible popularity in the K-pop world, Soompi cited. After debuting in 2015 with the album "The Story Begins," they were quickly known for the hits "Cheer Up," "Heart Shaker" and their most recent "Formula of Love: O+T=<3."

A month after its release, the group's latest album is still wining the Billboard charts. "Formula of Love: O+T=<3" is now on its fourth consecutive week on the music chart's Top 200 Albums at No. 66.

The LP debuted at No. 3 last month. It has become the first album from a K-pop girl group this 2021 that spent four weeks on the Billboard 200.

It is also TWICE's first album that experienced this feat. The previous record for the longest-charting K-pop girl group of 2021 was also from TWICE after their mini-album "Taste of Love" spent three weeks on the Billboard 200 this summer. With that said, fans cannot help but get excited about their upcoming 2022 North America tour.
