Kate Middleton will be gracing the cover of a major U.S. magazine for her 40th birthday and it, allegedly, affects Meghan Markle. A royal expert claims Prince Harry's wife is now feeling the pressure of the Duchess of Cambridge's presence in the American country.

It would be the fourth time Kate graced the front of a glossy entertainment magazine in the last 12 months. It was also her second solo outing that, reportedly, pressured Meghan.

Royal author and biographer Daniela Elser revealed the Duchess of Sussex had yet to have her solo cover despite the noise of leaving the monarchy had done, The News noted. Accusing the royal house of "institutional racing" and "ignoring her cry for help" for her mental health did nothing to give her a single solo cover.

Giving birth to her second child, Lilibet, and launching a new career after Megxit also did not land her on the front of any major magazines in the U.S. With that said, Elser claimed that her lack of "star billing" showed a not-so-glamorous picture of the Sussexes' campaign in the American country to establish themselves as "dazzling public figures."

Sure, the cover of People does not prove the public standing and approval. Still, it cannot be denied that Kate is continuously making her presence felt even outside the U.K. Elser even revealed a "renewed Windsor assault on the U.S." might happen in 2022.

Prince William is taking The Earthshot Prize awards at the other side of the Atlantic Ocean in 2022, Express cited. So, the public's interest in the Windsors Stateside means that Americans have yet to buy the Sussexes' version of events.

So, Kate's cover on People is said to be proof that she also sells well in the U.S. and has a positive place in the "American hearts and minds."

Meanwhile, earlier reports revealed the Cambridges would be visiting the U.S. for their environmental initiative, The Earthshot Prize. Per People, the couple will be hosting its second ceremony in the said country next year.

After celebrating the global prize for the environment in London in November, the Duke of Cambridge said it was only the beginning. At the time, he was already thrilled that their initiative would finally reach the U.S. in 2022 and they aimed to continuously spread their important message of "urgency, optimism and action."

"The urgency of the situation can't be overstated," he said. However, Kate's husband wanted to show the people across the world there was a reason to be hopeful through The Earthshot Prize.
