Rebel Wilson has fascinated the public with her weight loss journey. While many individuals celebrate her feats, not everyone appears to be on board with her.

Star magazine said that the actress opened about the negative response she obtained from some people. She revealed in one of her previous interviews that she received "a lot of pushback" from her own team in Hollywood.

They were asking her why she would do such a thing when she was "earning millions of dollars being the funny fat girl." As fans may recall, she has made a career out of playing roles, like Fat Amy from "Pitch Perfect."

On her part, though, she has remained "grateful" that she has made these "lasting changes'' for herself. The 41-year-old actress, also, noted that she is "still the exact same person, just a healthier version."

Rebel Wilson began her weight loss journey in 2020. She took her announcement to Instagram in January, informing her fans and followers that it would be "The Year of Health" for her.

She spent the whole year focusing on her health. She did so, and has since been doing it, by losing weight through workouts and mindful eating.

The "Isn't It Romantic" star documented her regimens and transformation on social media. She shared photos and clips of herself, as well as some of her fitness routines with celebrity fitness trainer Jono Castano.

Reports said that Wilson changed her lifestyle to improve her overall health. The inspiration came from her desire to have children, considering that health plays an integral role in the fertility journey.

Despite the "pushback," fans and followers continue to praise and support Rebel Wilson. Hollywood Life said netizens even deem her "the next Bond girl."

This came after the actress posted photos on Instagram earlier this month. The images feature her in a one-piece swimwear amid her vacation in Fiji.

Numerous individuals reportedly filled the post with comments, "gushing" over how great she looked in the pictures. Some called her "Rebel Bond," while others referred to her as the "Actual Bond girl."

Apart from her impressive weight loss transformation, Rebel Wilson is, also, recently making the headlines because of her rumored new boyfriend. The Daily Mail said that witnesses spotted the actress with tennis star Matt Reid, having a "breakfast date" on Friday.

They were reportedly getting cozy at a cafe in Sydney. Photos, which the publication printed, show, as well, that the pair were laughing as they enjoy their meals.

Wilson and Reid first sparked dating rumors when they made a joint appearance at the AACTA Awards earlier this month.
