The 36th Golden Disc Awards will soon come and it has now revealed its official line-up of artists. Fans can expect this event to be like no other, with the performances of the best K-pop groups, stars and more.

The 36th Golden Disc Awards will be hosted by Lee Seung-hi, Lee Da-hee and Sung Si-kyung. The annual event has already revealed its first line-up of stars and fans still clamor for more.

All Kpop noted the first batch of artists announced are BTS, aespa, Brave Girls, Lim Young-woong, Lee Mu-jin, Jeon So-mi, The Boyz and ENHYPEN. The second line-up includes IU, SEVENTEEN, Oh My Girl, Stray Kids, Heize, Big Mama, TOMORROW X TOGETHER and STAYC.

Some of the performances that viewers are about to see are from IU and Big Mama. Stray kids, TOMORROW X TOGETHER and more will also take center stage.

After his special presentation last year, Lim Young-woong prepared a new special stage performance. Jeon Somi, who is a nominee for a Bonsang in the Digital Song division for her song "DUMB DUMB," will also give an incredible performance at the 36th Golden Disc Awards.

Meanwhile, aespa gets a nod for Rookie Artist of the Year and the Bonsang (Main Award) in both Digital Song and Album divisions. ENHYPEN also receives a nomination for a Bonsang in the Album category for group's LP "DIMENSION: DILEMMA," which turns out to be their million-seller album. The Boyz also gets the same nomination for its album "THRILL-ING."

In addition, though BTS is now on a hiatus and will not be part of the event, they will unveil never-before-seen footage of their successful "BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - LA" concert in the U.S. This will be the first time this will happen on TV, per Soompi.

Furthermore, Brave Girls will be making their first appearance at the Golden Disc Awards. The girl group is known for the massive success of their hit songs "Rollin" and "Chi Mat Ba Ram."

It will also be Lee Mujin's first time to attend the Golden Disc Awards after his song "Traffic Light" received much loved and attention from the music charts.

The 36th Golden Disc Awards will take place at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on Jan. 8, 2022, at 3 p.m. KST. Fans can also watch it in the comfort of their own homes with a live broadcast on JTBC, JTBC2 and JTBC 4.
