Sources even recently spilled a new story to Star magazine. It is claimed that the pair is living together, and has now welcomed Guadalupe Rodriguez into their home.
Lopez and Affleck, reportedly, love having the former's mother around as she always does "special little things" that make their house a home. She spoils the two celebrities by "cooking and cleaning up a storm."
The same insiders continued that she always makes "wonderful Latin dishes" for the pair, resulting in a "so good and homey" kitchen. Moreover, she is not a "pushy monster-in-law," and does not hover when the couple needs alone time.
Guadalupe Rodriguez has been, also, allegedly, a "big fan" of the "Batman" actor since the couple's relationship in the early 2000s. She always wanted Jennifer Lopez to marry Ben Affleck, and was even "so sorry" when she learned about the split of the two celebrities in 2004.
The informants, then, claimed that those close to the "Selena" actress's mother suspect she prefers the DCEU star over Alex Rodriguez. She would, reportedly, love to see them tie the knot, at long last.
Fans and followers would recall that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were about to get married before ending their relationship. They initially planned a late 2003 wedding but, ended up postponing the ceremony due to "public attention," according to Insider.
In January 2004, reps for the "On The Floor" singer released a statement, informing the public about the couple's break-up. Reports stated that it was no longer surprising to fans because the two celebrities went to their respective events alone and on their own.
During the same year, Lopez and Affleck married Marc Anthony and Jennifer Garner, respectively. They went on to live their lives, separately with their new families.
Over the years, though, it has been learned that the two stars maintained a good friendship and stayed in contact with each other. There were even times that they talked about each other on separate accounts.
