Khloe Kardashian has had a stormy relationship with Tristan Thompson. In the wake of the NBA star's latest betrayal, sources said that the Good American founder has continued to lean on her sister's ex, Scott Disick.

This became even more apparent when Kardashian seemingly received a bouquet of pastel roses from the father of her niece and nephews. Life & Style reported that the reality star took her appreciation to Instagram, wherein she posted a photo of the flowers and thanked Disick for it, adding the words: "I love you."

Following the gestures, insiders told the publication that the bouquet was "more than a friend reaching out to a friend." Their bond is "special and powerful," thus, it would not become a surprise "if their friendship blossomed into more."

The same informants noted that not even Khloe Kardashian's sister, Kourtney, who has three children with Scott Disick, would be shocked if they date each other. But, the case is not the same with Tristan Thompson, who shares a daughter with the former "The X Factor" co-host.

It is alleged that the NBA player is "fuming" over Disick's move to give flowers to Kardashian. They never reportedly "got along," adding that Thompson always saw him as a threat. This is why a romance between Disick and Kardashian would be the "perfect revenge."

This is not the first time the two celebrities faced dating rumors and speculations. Just earlier this month, fans of the "Kocktails with Khloe" host assumed that Scott Disick was "flirting" with Khloe Kardashian, according to The Sun US.

This came after the reality star posted a series of photos of herself on Instagram, and Disick wrote in the comment section: "Fine American." Although Kardashian replied with "HaHa," many netizens were not reportedly thrilled to see Kourtney's ex doing such things.

But, despite the criticisms, the duo did not make any responses on the platform. They maintained their silence about the matter.

Khloe Kardashian did, however, once defend her friendship with Scott Disick in the past. In 2019, the "Keeping Up" star shared a lengthy message as a response to a netizen who seemingly accused them of sleeping together.

She slammed the Instagram user, saying that it made her feel "sad" for the individual. She explained that, with the accusation thrown at her and Disick, it appeared as if the netizen does not have relationships "that can be completely platonic."

In the end, the celebrity emphasized that they are "family." She, also, pointed out that they have "experienced a ton together, and we love each other fiercely because of it all."
