Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's split brought shock to the public in 2021. But, before the year ended, Pete Davidson's arrival to the picture seemingly became the biggest surprise in the reality star's life.

While many individuals continue to celebrate the newfound love life of the now-couple, not everyone is reportedly on board. Sources recently shared with Life & Style that the "SNL" player's mother "hates" the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star, adding that she is "not a fan."

Kim Kardashian reportedly has an "uphill battle ahead of her" because Amy Davidson is not keen on sharing Pete Davidson. Despite the alleged meeting last December, the comedian's mother is said to have put on her "best poker face" amid the engagement.

The same insiders explained that Amy, who has a much closer age gap at 52 to Kardashian than her son has, does not like "all of the baggage that comes with Kim." Alongside the whole KarJenner household, there is, also, her ex, Kanye West, who has made public pleas to get back together with her.

Davidson's mom would allegedly, instead, choose her son to settle down with someone who does not have four kids. As pointed out, it is a "lot of responsibility," considering that the comedian is only 28 years old.

The latest claims appear to be in contrast with the previous reports that emerged in December. Before Christmas, a different set of informants revealed to InTouch Weekly that Kim Kardashian received Pete Davidson's family's "seal of approval," according to The International News.

As alleged, the family, including Amy Davidson, "signed off" on the reality star upon meeting her on Staten Island. It was stated, as well, that the insiders are close to the Davidsons.

Whatever the case, though, no confirmations have yet to surface regarding the matter. All the fans and followers know is that the couple has been enjoying their time together these past few months.

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson continue to make headlines these past few weeks. Just recently, the spotlight is on the pair's low-key date, as well as their Bahamas getaway.

Us Weekly reported that the couple kicked off the new year with a trip to the Caribbean. Insiders attested that the things between them had "definitely escalated quickly but in a healthy, fun way."

Although there were no photos of them together, fans have since theorized that the "Saturday Night Live" star was the one taking the pictures of the SKIMS founder during the outing.
