Choi Woo Shik talks about his hit drama "Our Beloved Summer" in an exclusive interview. The 31-year-old star reveals his ideal type in a woman as he becomes the latest South Korean actor who has made every woman falls in love.
Choi Woo Shik reveals everything to the newspaper Hankook Ilbo. Here, he tells more about his "Our Beloved Summer" character, Choi Woong, and other fun details about the series that fans need to know.
The "Parasite" star admitted that his character "wouldn't exist in the world," AllKpop noted. He confessed he couldn't behave like Choi Woong, though he enjoyed playing his character in the drama.
Knowing the difference between his role and his own personality, the Korean-Canadian actor said he wanted to learn to do everything with love. He also talked about his personal life, revealing he wasn't sure if marriage was for him.
Although he didn't know yet if it was the way to go, he wanted to "maintain the love until the very end." With that being said, Choi Woo Shik also revealed his ideal type of woman.
However, he believed he didn't have one, knowing he had been distressed in life as of late. But if he were to choose a lady he could be with forever, he wanted someone who has the same sense of humor as he is.
"I like funny people that I enjoy spending time with," he said. Meanwhile, for starters, Choi Woo Shik is good friends with BTS's V and the two showed their good bond on the set of "Our Beloved Summer," per Soompi.
In fact, the famed K-pop idol lent his voice to the series by contributing to its soundtrack. The drama's official OTS included "Christmas Tree," which made history on the Billboard charts in the U.S. and the Oricon and iTunes charts in Japan.
Aside from that, V also showed his support for Choi Woo Shik in a much-unexpected way. In a post on Instagram Stories, the hitmaker was seen clapping the slate for the "Train to Busan" star and his on-screen partner, Kim Da Mi.
The two were getting ready to film a scene behind V and they all looked cute together. The indicated date on the clip was Dec. 30, 2021, which was V's birthday, making the visit more meaningful.
In addition, V once again showed his close bond with Choi Woo Shik when the latter posted a photo that commemorated the end of "Our Beloved Summer" on Instagram. V left a comment, saying Choi Woo Shik had "worked hard" for it.
