Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton tied the knot in July. Seven months later, they are now heading, reportedly, toward a $230 million divorce.

The allegation emerged in the February 7 issue of National Enquirer. It comes after sources claimed that they have "nothing in common," adding that they fight all the time.

The insiders continued they "squabble" about "almost everything" since they wedded last year. They even, allegedly, "butted heads" before tying the knot because they could not agree on several things.

It is, also, stated that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are "still steamed" that they did not get what they wanted for their nuptials. They were not able to get the "wedding of their dreams" because the "Sweet Escape" singer "dragged her feet and the pandemic raged on."

Stefani is alleged to be "resentful," as well, about not having a church wedding she wanted. She feels that Shelton "does not take her religion seriously enough."

The story, while entailed specific details, did not have any proof to verify the claims. It appears to be mere speculation as the whole narrative seems to have come from groundless assertions.

In addition, Stefani and Shelton have not released any official statement about the matter. But, what makes the story more questionable is that the country singer just recently gushed about his new role as a stepfather to his partner's three children.

Blake Shelton opened up to Sounds Like Nashville about raising Gwen Stefani's three sons, whom the "Cool" singer shares with former husband, Gavin Rossdale. He even shared some stories, as well as insights on being a stepfather, according to She Finds.

The celebrity stated he does not "if it is as hard, or harder, or not as hard as being an actual biological parent." He, however, said that he has a "good inspiration" in his life as to how to fulfill the role or "the kind of stepdad" he wants to be because of his own stepfather.

While Gwen Stefani has three children from her previous marriage, her now-husband does not have kids of his own. He was, nevertheless, married to Miranda Lambert for four years before divorcing in 2015. During the same year, Stefani's marriage to Gavin Rossdale ended, as well.

Months later, several dating rumors involving the two "The Voice" judges emerged. It was not until November of the same year that they became an official couple before the public.

The pair got engaged in late 2020 and tied the knot nearly a year after.
