"Attack on Titan" Season 4 Part 2 Episode 80, titled "From You, 2000 Years Ago," will take fans back to the earlier times of the Titans. The new episode preview features the history of Ymir and the story of the first Titans.
The final season gives fans its much-needed lesson about the Titan's history. After taking viewers back to the memory of Grisha, "Attack on Titan" Season 4 Part 2 Episode 80 will tell more about the mysterious Ymir.
Though the preview is quite vague, only show stills of a number of Titans going to war, it features the familiar face of Historia. It also gives a good look at Grisha's fight with the Reiss family, but it mostly focuses on Ymir.
The original Titan is about to unveil its origin and Comibook noted it is "not for the faint of heart" after seeing what happened in the manga. It tells the story of those who "opposed, fought and moved forward" and the ones who started this epic story.
After the big revelations in "Attack on Titan" Season 4 Part 2 Episode 79, "Memories of the Future," We Got This Covered assumed who started this story might all trace back to Eren. Though it may be another red herring, there is still a possibility for it.
"Attack on Titan" Season 4 Part 2 Episode 80 will also answer the questions about the mysterious title of the anime's first episode, "To You, 2000 Years From Now," and the upcoming "From You, 2000 Years Ago." What does it really mean? What is the connection between the two?
Meanwhile, Episode 79 mostly focused on Eren and Zeke wandering around Grisha's memories. Zeke wanted to show his brother that their father only used Eren as a tool, per IBTimes.
Little did he know that he sacrificed himself to give Eren the freedom he knew he needed. It also featured a touching scene where Grisha hugged Zeke tightly and apologized for what he did to him.
The second part of "Attack on Titan" final season continued the war in Paradis. The Jaegerists have now seized control.
Marley has now started their attack to return the favor after Eren's surprise move took its toll on them. Now that Zeke's real plan is revealed and the military force follows a new rule, the battle may continue on two fronts.
Now that it is known that Eren has a plan of his own, not even considering to fulfill Zeke's wishes like many are thinking, will he succeed and save the world? "Attack on Titan" Season 4 Part 2 Episode 80 will be out on Sunday, Feb. 6.
