Prince William and Kate Middleton moving to the suburbs has become an apparent topic among royal experts and commentators. Many believe that they will soon relocate their family to a town near Windsor Castle.

A source told Us Weekly that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, alongside their three children, are fond of Berkshire. They "love" it and the "country life suits them so much better in terms of pace and environment."

While they will still commute when going to the city, they have reportedly been a "regular" over the years. It is said that they even now have their own "favorite village pub and church."

The insider added that the family of five is sold to everything the town offers. But, the biggest "attraction" of all is they can blend in with locals.

It is unclear whether Kate Middleton and Prince William are, indeed, planning to relocate to Berkshire. Aside from keeping their silence and privacy, the informant did not share any evidence to prove the story.

It is worth noting, however, that several other commentators and experts have the same beliefs regarding the royal couple's reported plans to move near Windsor Castle. "Royally Us" hosts even recently discussed the matter in one of their latest podcast episodes.

The two hosts asserted that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge appear to be "ready for a move." They referenced a source from a Daily Mail report, saying that the Cambridge Royals "will move to Berkshire and start a quiet life," according to Express UK.

In speculating the reason behind the potential move, the royal commentators noted that Kate Middleton and Prince William likely see living their life in suburbia as a sensible move today.

They would be closer to Windsor Castle where they could continue their royal duties and responsibilities. Moreover, the future Queen Consort's parents and sister live in Berkshire, as well, so it "makes perfect sense."

The reports seemingly first emerged from The Sun in September 2021. A source told the publication that Prince William and Kate Middleton were looking at locations "suitable" for raising their three children.

At the time, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were allegedly thinking of relocating to Fort Belvedere. It is a property under the Crown Estate, and a Grade II listed house with a tower.

Following the allegations, though, royal aides dismissed the claims.

Meanwhile, the latest talks about their potential move have yet to be quashed by royal insiders. Likewise, the future King and Queen Consort have yet to make an official statement to either confirm or deny the story.
