They saw Kurourushi as the one responsible for this invasion. Kurourushi was made of Kenjaku's cursed spirit manipulation and he was after Yuta.
He used to be hibernating after finding himself at a disadvantage against Dhruv. He regained consciousness after Dhruv died and re-emerged, craving for more cursed energy.
However, it was not Kurourushi who the special grade sorcerer saw as the real threat at all. He was eyeing to earn 400 points and defeat Kenjaku on his own.
