Brad Pitt no longer believes in happily ever after as he has now "abandoned" the idea of it. He has even kissed the dating scene "goodbye" due to his failed relationships, specifically his split with Angelina Jolie.

This is the latest assertions from an insider, who told Life & Style that the "Maleficent" actress "scarred" her former husband. It is said to have caused him to think that remaining single is better for him.

Pitt, also, allegedly calls Jolie the "elephant in the room" because his potential dates are "turned off" by the ongoing legal battle between him and the mother of his children. Accordingly, love has become "tainted" for the actor, and his former wife is a factor.

The insider consequently alleged that Angelina Jolie "digs up dirt to use against" Brad Pitt. She even does background checks on the individuals with connections to the actor, which is why "no one wants to be dragged into their war."

Despite choosing not to date anymore, the "Ad Astra" star still reportedly does "quick flings." He is stated to have access to private clubs, leading him to meet and "hook up with models."

The outlet, later on, noted that a rep for Pitt denied the allegations. But, the same source insisted that these kinds of ties have "perks" for the celebrity because there are no strings attached, thus, "no drama or the risks of getting hurt again."

It is unclear how or where the informant obtained such information about Brad Pitt. Although there are details to the story, no proof or evidence of any kind has come to light.

It is, also, worth noting that a rep of the actor already reportedly dismissed the claims of the anonymous insider. Hence, it appears that the latest account is mere speculation and rumor.

Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie previously mentioned having "scars." In one of her previous interviews, she opened up about it, noting that she has both "visible and invisible scars."

Cosmopolitan said that the visible ones come after overcoming cancer, while the invisible scars are from being "emotionally hurt."

The "Eternals" actress, nevertheless, asserted that things were "looking up," thanks to her children, who she shares with Brad Pitt.

Jolie and Pitt ended their two-year marriage and more-than-a-decade relationship in 2016. The actress filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind it.

She, also, requested the custody of their six children, with her rep stating that it was for the "health of the family," according to Us Weekly.

The former couple reached a temporary custody agreement during the same period. Angelina Jolie received sole custody, while Brad Pitt was granted visitation rights.

The custody battle has continued to develop up until today.
