Montecito is 90 minutes away from Calabasas, where Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker live in separate homes. It is, also, reportedly a "special place" for the soon-to-be-married couple, causing them to decide to have their lavish wedding there.

An insider spoke with Life & Style and alleged that the celebrity pair initially planned to have a destination wedding. But, with the restrictions due to COVID-19, "they would rather make sure their loved ones can all be in attendance."

Although they reportedly plan on staying in state for their nuptials, it does not mean that they are "scrimping." As claimed, they are planning to spend around $10 million for their wedding, adding that "they will spare no expense."

The same source continued that the cost will include flowers, wine, and champagne," as well as "multiple" sartorial items. There will even be several "gown and tuxedo changes" for Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker.

The reality star, also, reportedly imagines exchanging vows on the beach, "surrounded by red roses and candles," much like what happened during their engagement. Moreover, she is now said to be in talks with Mindy Weiss for the event planning and Jeff Leatham for the flowers "to bring her dreamy vision to life."

The tipster may have provided details to the story, but these do not prove anything. No evidence has surfaced to support the latest claims about Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's upcoming wedding.

Furthermore, the engaged couple have yet to break their silence regarding their plans. So, it remains unclear when or how they will say their "I dos" to each other.

At best, the latest assertions are speculative unless Kardashian and Barker confirm otherwise.

This is not the first set of rumors, though, about the couple's wedding, that have surfaced across media outlets. Elle previously released a rundown of all the claims about the highly-anticipated event in the lives of Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker.

Some have shared that they intend to exchange vows "sooner rather than later." Others, also, stated that they have already set the date, some time this year.

There are a few, who asserted, as well, that Kardashian and Barker are planning a "small ceremony." One even alleged that Scott Disick, the father of the reality star's children, will not attend the event.

Whatever the case, though, these are mere rumors that come with groundless claims. No official statements have emerged yet, confirming the details of the wedding.

These all have come to light, though, after Travis Barker proposed to Kourtney Kardashian, with the latter accepting it in October.
