Fans have finally seen the premiere episode of "Thirty-Nine," making them more excited to see more. After witnessing the fun banters of Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do and Kim Ji Hyun, the three lead stars talk about their upcoming on-screen romances.

"Thirty-Nine" won't only tell the story of friendship between the characters of Son Ye Jin, Jeon Mi Do and Kim Ji Hyun. It will also follow their love stories as they meet their on-screen lovers, Yeon Woo Jin, Lee Moo Saeng and Lee Tae Hwan.

Kim Ji Hyun (Jang Joo Hee) will have a low-key love life among the three. Her romance with Lee Tae Hwan (Park Hyun Joo) will be just on the verge of blossoming and they will have a "very healthy relationship," Soompi noted.

As someone who has never dated anyone, her character will be very careful when it comes to dating--especially someone much younger than her. Alternatively, Jeon Mi Do (Jeong Chan Young) revealed her role and Lee Moo Saeng's (Kim Jin Seok) love story has a tale to tell.

They've been through a lot, so she finds it hard to sum up their romance. So, she just asks fans to see more of their relationship as "Thirty-Nine" continues and witness how their story evolves and concludes.

Lastly, Son Ye Jin (Cha Mi Jo) described her on-screen partner, Yeon Woo Jin (Kim Sun Woo), as perfect that it looks like no man like him still exists. He's unbelievably romantic that he seems to come out straight from a fairy tale.

He's considerate and forgiving, so she's 100% confident that fans will love their romance in the series. However, "Thirty-Nine" is not just about fun and games.

As director Kim Sang Ho puts it, the three friends will soon realize that everything has to come to an end after Jeong Chan Young is diagnosed with a terminal illness. From here, they will learn the importance of the moment after knowing the truth about death.

Though the filmmaker stresses the series is not a drama about death, he clears the series recognizes the importance of living life to the fullest while also being aware of dying. "I want it to be a drama about the meaning of a sincere life through three friends who live life to the fullest while facing the death of a friend," he said.

"Thirty-Nine" will be out every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:30 p.m. KST.
