BTS members RM, Suga and Jimin held a live broadcast on Sunday, Feb. 20, to give fans some updates about V's condition. V has been diagnosed with COVID-19 and is now in isolation.
Thankfully, V seems to be doing okay, despite experiencing mild symptoms. His fellow BTS members RM, Suga and Jimin even assure fans that he's recovering well.
Aside from the health update, the three also revealed how buff they have become after taking their extended break. They also shared their activities during their past time and more.
Koreaboo noted it was the first time fans saw Jimin after he, too, got positive for the virus. Luckily, he has now recovered and is feeling okay.
In fact, he has started working out two days after he has recovered. From here, he gave an update about V, revealing they had a video call on Saturday, Feb. 19, for about two hours.
RM asked him how he was doing and if he was bored being in quarantine alone. "He's doing well," Jimin said.
He even revealed they had "chin-ups" when they video called, trying to make fun of the situation so that fans wouldn't worry that much. Suga couldn't help but question RM's question, which seemed to suggest that V might be doing something else.
He, then, asked RM what V should be doing. "No, like I don't know if he's working on music or something," RM revealed.
For starters, BigHit Music released a statement on Feb. 15 on WeVerse that V took an RT-PCR test on that afternoon after experiencing a mild sore throat. Later, his results came out positive.
It, then, revealed V is fully vaccinated and had a mild fever and sore throat at the time and was being treated at home, waiting for health authorities' guidelines. Though the label admitted he had been in contact with other BTS members on Feb. 12, it cleared they were all wearing a mask and had no close connection.
None of the group's other members were showing any symptoms than V at the time. Everyone also had negative results from pre-emptive self-tests.
Meanwhile, V himself advised a fan who asked him what he was doing not to feel bored while undergoing self-quarantine. In a post on WeVerse, via Geo TV, he said they should watch movies, turn on the music, enjoy thinking good things, get as much sleep, play some games and have a nap as time just flies so fast.
