Fans may see Girls' Generation former member Jessica in "Sisters Who Make Waves" Season 3. After seeing her name on the cast list, the novelist is reportedly part of the new season.

Jessica's inclusion in "Sisters Who Make Waves" Season 3 started as a rumor last month. Now, it looks like everything is confirmed.

AllKpop noted Chinese netizens circulated the list of the cast of the Mango TV series' new season. It reportedly has 58 contenders and one of them is the 32-yer-old star, who is said to be contestant No. 22.

As a former member of Girls' Generation, she was introduced as part of the group. An anonymous netizen revealed she had already filmed her stage performance.

She said to have performed two songs, "Perfect" and another Chinese-titled track, in Changsha. For starters, Jessica was dismissed from Girls' Generation due to conflicts of schedule between her business activities after establishing the fashion brand Blanc & Eclare and the group's promotions.

She ended her contract with SM Entertainment and signed with Coridel Entertainment in 2016. She then signed a contract with United Talent Agency in 2018.

Meanwhile, "Sisters Who Make Waves" Season 3 is now making some noise. A list of contestants was leaked in January, but an updated "confirmed" list showed different names on Chinese social media, per a Sina report.

Some names on the new list are S.H.E's Selina Jen, Twins' Charlene Choi and Gillian Chung, Cyndi Wang, Yuki Hsu, Fiona Sit, Irene Wan, Singaporean singer Jocie Guo, former F.I.R. member Faye, former Fietar member Cao Lu and Vincy Chan. It also includes Ann Bai, Shi Shi, Agatha Kong, Sun Yue, Han Xue, Zhang Xiaofei, Raquel Xu, Chen Bing, Choenyi Tsering, Liu Lin, Zhu Yuanyuan, Wen Zhengrong, Yolanda Yang, Rachel Momo, Eliza Liang, He Jie, Zhang Li, Lin Peng and Tia Ray.

Unlike the leaked names, it does not include Carina Lau, Carman Lee and Coco Lee. The new season reportedly started filming in March.

Meanwhile, "Sister Who Makes Waves" debuted on Mango TV in June 2020. It features 20 female celebrities over 30 years old to debut as a part of a seven-member girl group.

The first two seasons featured the likes of Christy Chung, Annie Yi, Na Ying, Cecilia Cheung, Joey Yung and Rainie Yang and their appearances in the series helped boost their careers. However, there are no words yet on when "Sisters Who Make Waves" Season 3 will be out.
