Psy finally drops the much-awaited music video for his song "Celeb," featuring Suzy Bae. Three years after he first gave a sneak peek of it, the "Gangnam Style" hitmaker now gives color and life to the track.

The much-awaited music video for "Celeb" was out on Tuesday, May 3, at 6 p.m. KST. The said song is part of his new album, "PSY 9th."

Soompi noted the song was just out last week when his new album dropped on April 29, but he first gave a glimpse of its music video three years ago. He gave fans a quick look at it at one of his Summer Swag concerts in 2019.

However, as Psy postponed his comeback, which was supposed to happen in July 2019, it took three years before the song and official music video finally be out to the public.

In addition, before the music video's official release, Psy gave little teasers of what fans were about to see by revealing the behind-the-scenes making of it. He also showed behind cuts with Suzy Bae herself.

Her appearance also led to the assumption that she would be the next "Psy girl," along with other K-pop idols HyunA, Ga In and Na Eun. Psy also gave a good look at a part of the song's melody and his choreography.

Meanwhile, Block B's Zico, Yoo Gun Yung and Psy co-composed the music for "Celeb." Alternatively, its lyrics were written by Zico and Psy.

This song is part of Psy's much-awaited comeback after five years. His ninth album, "PSY 9th," was officially out on various online music sites at 6 p.m. KST on April 29.

For starters, Psy is not only a singer. He, too, is a rapper, songwriter and record producer.

He is known for his humorous videos and stage performances and for his international hit songs "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman." In fact, the song's refrain became a part of The Yale Book of Quotations as one of the most famous quotations of 2012, per Pinkvilla.

Currently, "PSY 9th" title track, "That That," which was produced by BTS's Suga, who is also featured in the song, is dominating the iTunes charts across the globe since it dropped last week.
