A photo of BLACKPINK member Lisa and Jisoo together with BIG BANG's Taeyang is now circulating online. As this excites fans, what does this photo mean? Will a collaboration between the two K-pop giants happen?
The three's photo, together with two unknown individuals, at a restaurant, was posted on an online community forum, Pann Nate. Lisa, Jisoo and Taeyang are known to be close friends and labelmates and they're together with a professional-looking guy and another guy who looks like a chef, hinting that they had fine dining.
"What is this combination?" the image's uploader captioned the post, via AllKpop. In the comment section, many netizens assumed the three were close friends, knowing they had crossed paths several times in the past.
One fan said Jisoo and other BIG BANG members were seen playing at the end-of-the-year award shows during their debut days. So, this might only mean that they had been friends since the early stage of their careers and it had been a while since they were seen being friendly.
Another claimed that BLACKPINK members attended Taeyang's solo concert in the past and Jisoo surprised him by hiding in the back of a trashcan and yelling, "hey!"-only that he did not react. A different fan added Lisa was even in Taeyang's "Ringa Linga" video.
With this outing, their supporters started to clamor for an album release. So, would a joint work between the two groups happen?
Meanwhile, rumors had it that G-Dragon and Jennie were a thing and even became the K-pop world's hottest couple even though they had never confirmed their relationship, per EpicStream. They first worked together for the BIG BANG's leader music video for "That XX" in 2012.
They had instantly sparked dating rumors at the time due to their alleged flirty exchanges on the set. They then worked again together, making Jennie the main star of his "Black" music video.
Since then, they had been spotted together in public and Dispatch finally revealed the BLACKPINK member was visiting the iconic rapper in his high-security penthouse in Seoul. However, their romance seemed to end when G-Dragon reportedly unfollowed Jennie on Instagram.
His name was even dragged in Jennie and BTS's V's dating rumors. The media outlet Knetz, as Meaww claimed, alleged G-Dragon even took a jab at V by posting blooming flowers after the latter shared withered daisies on Instagram.
It also asserted that Jennie tried to confirm her romance with V when she posted a black-and-white photo of her magazine cover, similar to what the BTS member shared. Anyhow, until today, there are no words if Jennie's relationship with V a G-Dragon is true.
