"Record of Ragnarok" Season 2 is now in the works and Graphinica studio has announced it's coming on Netflix. The company also drops a new teaser poster, hinting at the more godly fights happening in the series.

The anime's first season dropped on Netflix in June 2021. Since then, there have been teasers about "Record of Ragnarok" Season 2 and though there are no details on what's about to come, it has now taken a huge step forward.

The franchise's official Twitter account officially announced the new season's coming. It also revealed it would be out sometime in 2023 and though it had a vague release window, fans are already looking forward to what will happen next.

Comicbook noted the first season received a mixed response from fans due to how the first set of episodes was animated. Hence, there are fears the second season may repeat the same mistakes.

So, what will happen in "Record of Ragnarok" Season 2? The fourth round has just begun, seeing the god Hercules faces one of the most infamous killers in history, Jack the Ripper, per What's on Netflix.

Aside from this, there are also other fights fans shall look forward to. The fifth round will feature the battle between Raiden Tameemon and Shiva, while the sixth round will see the fight between Budda and Zerofuku.

However, as the manga has only published a few chapters so far, no one knows who the combatants will fight among the gods. The teaser poster seems to hint at how intense the incoming brawls will be.

Brynhildr can be seen on the left side of the image, while Reifuku, Buddha, Heracles, Jack the Ripper, Shiva and Raiden Tameemon are on the right. This key visual is said to make fans feel the story's development, teased by the new characters' key image that will be seen in "Record of Ragnarok" Season 2.

The anime is about to feature 13 bouts, but the first season only showed three rounds of the fight. The Gods have won two attacks against humanity.

They entered the fourth round with a two-one lead. The first round saw Thor winning against Lu Bu, while Zeus won over Adam in the second round.

The third round saw Kojiro Sasaki win over Poseidon, so everyone is looking forward to the fourth bout. Will the gods once again win over the famous figures in history? Fans must wait until 2023 to see what will happen next in "Record of Ragnarok" Season 2.
