"Boruto" Episode 256, titled "The Ultimate Recipe," will feature the calm after the storm. Following the ending of the Funato arc, the next installment will be more relaxed and will focus mostly on Team 10.
Boruto and his friends are already home, while the fate of everyone who joined the war has been decided. With that said, the protagonists are about to take a rest and "Boruto" Episode 256 will be about Inojin and Chocho.
SportsKeeda noted that the next installment would be about Team 10's relationship. It will feature what Inojin and Chocho feel about their teammate Shikadai.
They think the Nara heir is being held back due to their lack of skill. From there, they decided for her to have better teammates.
The two will join a ramen restaurant to help its owner, seeing the establishment is short-staffed. This will help them do something after deciding to leave Shikadai.
However, things will start to be complicated in "Boruto" Episode 256 when Shikadai arrives with a new mission for their team. So, what will it be?
The new episode preview, via IBTimes, shows Chocho and Inojin meeting the restaurant owner in the back alley near his store. They will try to befriend the owner as a part of their mission.
The owner is the one who cooks the ramen at the restaurant. However, he will later look tense, so Chocho and Inojin decide to help him to use the finest recipe ramen can have.
By the looks of it, the upcoming episode will give a fun and insightful look at the franchise's other interesting characters. The protagonists will be at rest this time as they will soon begin a new intense arc. Though the next episode doesn't have a major storyline, it's still worth watching.
Meanwhile, "Boruto" Episode 255 showed how Naruto congratulated Team 7, composed of Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki and Kawaki, after successfully completing their mission. Sarada made a report that they had arrived safely.
Naruto and others learned how Boruto risked his life to stop the conflict and played a major role in winning the Land of Water. Naruto felt delighted knowing this mission managed to boost Konohagakure's reputation.
Sarada then asked for updates about the Land of Water's current situation. There, they learned that the Funato army lost a huge part of its influence while its members were under surveillance by the Hidden Mist Village.
"Boruto" Episode 256 is set to be out on Sunday, July 3.
