So Yoo Jin talked about her marriage with her husband Baek Jong Won and revealed they weren't as intimate as before after giving birth to their third child in 2018. The actress graced MBC's "Oh Eun Young Report-Marriage Made in Hell" on Monday, July 4, and made a shocking confession.
On the show, a guest couple talked about their sexless marriage life and So Yoo Jin shared her own experience. She also advised the two about bringing back the passion in their marriage.
The 40-year-old star revealed, via AllKpop, that she and her husband started to have fewer intercourses after having three kids. However, they talked about not getting intimate for the time being as they slept with all of their children.
So, she believed moving their kids to a separate room would help rekindle the intimacy in the relationship. Dr. Oh Eun Young supported So Yoo Jin's claim, explaining that "sleeping separately is helpful."
Though sleeping together looked wholesome on the outside, she stressed that the family had different roles and expectations. So, she added it was important to learn those things by sleeping in a separate room. If the couple's child is already six years old, it's time for the kid to sleep in his own room.
Aside from So Yoo Jin, Baek Jong Won also talked about their marriage on SBS's "Baek Jong Won's Alley Restaurant" in 2021. Known as the "parakeet couple" in the business or a pair with a very good relationship, he surprised everyone when he said they were things they didn't usually do as of late, per News Directory.
Jadu and Jimmy Lee joined the famous chef as a tasting group and the two showed major PDA, holding each other's hands, in front of the camera. Baek Jong Won couldn't help but make a joke after seeing their extraordinary affection, asking, "But isn't it hot?"
He then asked the two how long they had been married, to which they answered "eight years," surprising many.
Baek Jong Won said it had been eight years since he, though he didn't complete his sentence. He then asked Jadu and Jimmy Lee if their affection was just a show-off, which they both refused.
"No. That's good enough," Jimmy Lee said. He then asked Baek Jong Won if he had a lot of "skinship" with So Yoo Jin, to which he replied with, "I don't do," adding it had been eight years since he had been married, but....
Baek Jong Won and So Yoo Jin now have three kids, Baek Yong Hee, 8, Baek Seo Hyeon, 7, and Baek Se Eun, 4. The couple tied the knot in 2013.
