Are you still expecting another round of tax rebate? These states will provide residents with relief payments to help them deal with the nation's growing inflation rate because a fourth wave of stimulus funds from the Biden administration is still doubtful.

California

Governor Gavin Newsom declared that millions of citizens would receive tax rebates of up to $1,050 to help them deal with the soaring cost of gas in late June. From October 2022 to mid-January 2023, people who are eligible for the tax rebate checks may get a one-time payment in the range of $200 and $1,050.

Colorado

By the end of September, Colorado citizens will get a tax rebate totaling $750 for single taxpayers and $1,500 for joint filers according to the Colorado Cash Back Bill, which was enacted on May 23. Only those who were designated full-year residents of the state in 2021 and who were at least 18 years old by the end of that year will receive the payment, though.

Delaware

Gov. John Carney, a Democrat from Delaware, enacted the Delaware Relief Rebate Program in May. The proposed legislation would enable the state to issue a $300 one-time payment to any adult citizen who timely filed their 2021 tax return. The checks are being issued all summer long.

Florida

Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican from Florida, said in the middle of July that the state will be giving $450 one-time back-to-school cheques to close to 60,000 families. Foster parents, family caregivers, non-family caregivers, TANF-qualified families, and participants in the Guardianship Assistance Program are all on the list of eligible recipients, according to CBS News.

Georgia

In response to the rising cost of living, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, a Republican, signed into law a tax refund that would provide one-time payments of $250 to solo filers, $375 to heads of household, and $500 to married couples filing jointly. Recipients who submitted their taxes by April 18, 2022, will receive the cheques by the end of August.

Hawaii

Act 115 calls for tax refunds of $100 or $300 to be given to Hawaii citizens in late August. The amount residents will receive may vary according on their income, tax filing status, and a few exclusions.

Idaho

According to the website of the Idaho State Tax Commission, the state started disbursing the payments in March.

Illinois

Illinois's state government will start giving its citizens checks for their income tax refunds the week of September 12. Individual taxpayers who reported 2021 income of less $200,000 will receive $50. Married couples who file jointly and earned less than $400,000 will get a $100 tax credit. The $100 per kid credit is also available to taxpayers who claimed dependents, up to a maximum of three children per family.

Oregon

By July 31, residents of the state of Oregon who was eligible for the most recent $600 one-time aid cheques had already received them.
