Hyun Bin will make his first appearance on a variety entertainment program after marrying Son Ye Jin in March. The soon-to-be-father is promoting his new movie, "Confidential Assignment 2: International," and his guesting on "The Game Caterers" will be part of the promotion.
Hyun Bin will grace the said variety show with his co-stars Yoo Hae Jin, Daniel Henney, Jin Seon Kyu and Girls' Generation's YoonA. By the looks of it, fans are now excited to see his return to the spotlight.
AllKpop noted the K-drama star is now getting everyone's attention as they are looking forward to seeing him on a variety show. He, too, will be back on the big screen with the "Confidential Assignment" sequel.
Once again, the 39-year-old returns as the North Korean detective Rim Chul Ryung. He will be reunited with the South Korean detective Kang Jin Tae (Yoo Hae Jin) as they solve another case with the new addition, FBI detective Jack (Daniel Henney). They will be investigating the North Korean criminal organization led by Jang Myung Joon (Jin Sun Kyu).
Talking about the film in a press conference in a hotel in Seoul, South Korea, Hyun Bin revealed he really liked to reprise his role in the sequel. In fact, as soon as the talks about it began, he was looking forward to reuniting with its original cast.
"While we were comfortable, I also think our synergy was doubled," he said, via Soompi. Alternatively, Yoo Hae Jin stated that aside from the positive result the first movie yielded, everyone was also good on set, so he was excited to see them all again.
In addition, YoonA revealed it was the first time she met everyone again for another movie production, so she felt nice to see all of them. It gave her a very familiar feeling, making the filming more comfortable.
The Girls' Generation member also talked about her character, Park Min Young, revealing fans would witness a significant character development in "Confidential Assignment 2: International."
She has now found a new job as a beauty vlogger on YouTube. She has also developed "conflicting thoughts" after giving Jack the feelings she used to have for Chul Ryung.
"I think that happens with anyone in front of her," she added, making everyone laugh. Once again, Hyun Bin will lead "Confidential Assignment 2: International," which will drop in the theaters on Wednesday, September 7.
